MacFarlane Hunting Ancient Tartan Sash

90" long x 9-12" wide (depends on the tartan sett size) with 6" loose fringe or hand knotted. 

MacFarlane Hunting Ancient Lightweight Tartan is a bright green-based tartan with shades of red and blue. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.Gilchrist, a descendant of the Celtic Earls of Lennox was the ancestor of this clan. Their territory was on Loch Lomondside and possessed Arrochar in 1230. Their 4th Chief was named Bartholomew, or Parlan in Gaelic; the clan name MacFarlane means son of Bartholomew. They were strong and warlike and distinguished themselves in battle.
